Pizza in Peril
Spin. Charge. Upgrade. Survive.
Defend a pineapple pizza from waves of hungry animals by building poles, orbiting around them, and unleashing increasingly ridiculous abilities. Or try to win without any upgrades and prove that you are a true gamer.
Playtime: around 7–15 minutes for one run. Endless mode starts after Wave 10 or Wave 15, depending on the selected difficulty.

Motion note: This game involves fast circular movement. If watching or playing feels uncomfortable or dizzying, please take a break.
• Hold Space to connect to poles, spin, and charge them.
• Release Space to launch away.
• Press I to view upgrade information.
• Press 1–4 to use powerups.
• Navigate menus with the mouse.
• Press Esc to pause, exit, and manage settings.

This game was made for The Very Serious Juniper Dev Game Jam, where it placed 23rd in Creativity & Theme, 64th in Enjoyment, and 324th Overall out of more than 3,500 entries!
Note: This is not the original jam version. Post-jam updates are regularly uploaded to improve audio, visuals, balance, and feedback based on player comments, and to add more content.

this is so cool! I have a question though, did you find any tutorials on how to make grid free placements? thanks!
Hi, i don't have a specific tutorial i could share, but in short, i draw a preview at mouse position and check for overlaps with paths and such invalid places every frame. Area2d overlap check is a good starting point to look into :)
